Windows 7 Problems Starting Up [FIXED]

Windows is not starting correctly, you may frequently use the incorporated”startup repair” tool to repair it. This recovery tool will scan your PC for issues like missing or damaged system files. It can’t fix hardware issues or Windows installation issues, but it is a great first place to start if you are experiencing trouble booting up into Windows.

This tool is available on Windows 7, 8, and 10. You can get it from the built-in Windows recovery applications (if they built properly), retrieval websites, or a Windows installation disc.

Establish Startup Repair In the Windows Boot Menu

About Windows 8 or 10, you’ll often see the advanced boot options menu if Windows can not boot properly.

You can access Startup Repair by clicking Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Repair with this menu.

Windows will ask you for your password and also attempt to automatically repair your PC.

On Windows 7, then you will often see the Windows Error Recovery display if Windows can not boot correctly. Select”Launch Startup fix (Recommended)” on this display to run startup restoration.

Windows will prompt you to your keyboard layout and a password and username for your PC. After it does, pick the”Launch Startup Repair (recommended)” option. Windows will try to discover and fix issues that could prevent your PC from booting.

If Windows 7 won’t boot correctly and doesn’t show you the Error Recovery screen, you can get into it manually. First, power the computer completely down. Next, turn it on and keep pressing the F8 key as it boots. You will observe the Advanced Boot Options screen, which is where you would establish Safe Mode from. Select”Repair Your Computer” and run startup restoration.

Sometimes, the startup fix option in Windows 7 might not be accessible. You might be told you want to use a Windows installation disc to fix your computer instead.

Launch Startup Repair From a System Repair Disc or Recovery Drive

If Windows is not booting properly and will not even allow you to utilize the startup repair option at boot, you can conduct startup repair from a system repair disc or recovery disk.

In case you haven’t previously produced a system repair disk or retrieval drive, you can do this from a different computer running the exact same version of Windows that isn’t booting up properly. For example, if your Windows 7 PC is not booting properly, you may produce a recovery disk on a different PC running Windows 7 and use it to repair the problem.

Windows 7 just permits you to make a recovery disc by simply burning a CD or DVD. Windows 8 and 10 allow you to create a USB recovery drive or burn a restoration disk , whichever you want.

As soon as you’ve created a system fix disc or retrieval drive, insert it in the PC that is not booting properly and boot in the disc or USB drive. You’ll be prompted to choose a installed version of Windows and you’ll see the very same tools you could normally access from the boot menu. Select”Startup Repair” to conduct a startup repair surgery.

This retrieval media will also let you use System Restore, recover your pc working with a system image backup you have previously created, and run a Windows Memory Diagnostic to confirm your computer’s RAM for issues.

Establish Startup Repair Out Of Windows Installation Media

You can also also do this right from a Windows installeation disc or USB drive.
If you do not have Windows installation media lying around, then you can download a Windows 7, 8, or 10 ISO out of Microsoft and either burn it to disk or copy it into a USB drive.

It’s completely legal.

Be certain to use media that matches the version of Windows you’re trying to regain –for instance, Windows 10 installation media to get a Windows 10 PC or Windows 7 installation media to get a Windows 7 PC.

Insert the disk or USB drive to the computer that can’t boot properly and boot in the apparatus .

About Windows 8 or 10, click on the”Fix your pc” option rather than”Install now” in the installer screen. Then select Troubleshoot > Startup Repair to conduct startup repair.

On Windows 7, you will see a”Fix your personal computer” link in the exact same place.

Click on this and Windows will run on the startup repair tool.

This instrument won’t resolve every issue. In some cases, your Windows installation may be so damaged that reinstalling Windows is the only alternative. In other cases, even reinstalling Windows may not solve your issue, as it might be a physical problem with your PC’s hardware.
