Startup Virus Removal Tool [SOLVED]

Windows isn’t starting correctly, you may frequently use the integrated”startup repair” tool to fix it. This retrieval tool will scan your PC for issues like missing or damaged system files. It can’t fix hardware difficulties or Windows installation problems, but it’s a fantastic first place to start if you’re experiencing trouble booting up into Windows.

This tool is available on Windows 7, 8, and 10. You may get it from the built in Windows recovery applications (should they built correctly ), recovery media, or even a Windows installation disk.

Launch Startup Repair From the Windows Boot Menu

On Windows 8 or 10, you’ll often see the advanced boot options menu if Windows can not boot correctly.

You can get Startup Repair by clicking Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Repair with this menu.

Windows will ask you for your password and attempt to automatically repair your PC.

On Windows 7, you will often find the Windows Error Recovery screen if Windows can not boot properly. Select”Launch Startup fix (Recommended)” on this screen to run startup restoration.

Windows will prompt you for your keyboard layout and a password and username to your PC. After it does, pick the”Launch Startup Repair (recommended)” option. Windows will attempt to find and fix problems that could prevent your PC from booting.

If Windows 7 won’t boot correctly and does not show you that the Error Recovery display, you can get to it manually. To begin with, power the computer fully down. Next, turn it on and keep pressing the F8 key as it’s boots. You’ll see the Advanced Boot Options screen, which will be where you would establish Safe Mode from. Select”Repair Your Computer” and operate startup restoration.

In some cases, the startup fix option in Windows 7 might not be accessible. You may be told you want to use a Windows setup disc to repair your pc instead.

Launch Startup Repair From a System Repair Disc or Recovery Drive

If Windows is not booting properly and will not even permit you to use the startup repair option at boot, you can conduct startup fix from a system repair disc or recovery drive.

If you haven’t previously created a system repair disc or retrieval drive, you can do so from another computer running the exact same version of Windows that isn’t booting up properly. As an instance, if your Windows 7 PC is not booting properly, you may produce a recovery disk on another PC running Windows 7 and use it to fix the issue.

Windows 7 only allows you to create a recovery disk by burning a CD or DVD. Windows 8 and 10 enable you to make a USB recovery disk or burn a restoration disk , whichever you prefer.

Once you’ve created a system repair disc or recovery drive, then insert it into the PC that isn’t booting properly and boot from the disk or USB drive. You’ll be prompted to pick an installed version of Windows and you’ll see the same tools you can normally get from the boot menu. Select”Startup Repair” to run a startup repair operation.

This recovery media will also allow you to use System Restore, regain your pc working with a system image backup you have previously established, and operate a Windows Memory Diagnostic to confirm your computer’s RAM for problems.

Launch Startup Repair From Windows Setup Media

You could also also do this directly from a Windows installeation disc or USB drive.
If you do not have Windows installation media lying about, you can download a Windows 7, 8, or 10 ISO from Microsoft and either burn it to disc or copy it into a USB drive.

It’s entirely legal.

Make sure to use media that matches the version of Windows you are trying to regain –for example, Windows 10 installation media for a Windows 10 PC or Windows 7 installation media to get a Windows 7 PC.

Insert the disc or USB drive to the computer that can’t boot correctly and boot in the device.

About Windows 8 or 10, click the”Repair your pc” option instead of”Install now” from the installer display. Then select Troubleshoot > Startup Repair to conduct startup restoration.

On Windows 7, you’ll see a”Fix your computer” link in the same place.

Click this and Windows will run on the startup repair tool.

This instrument will not fix every issue. Sometimes, your Windows setup may be so damaged that reinstalling Windows is the only alternative. In other cases, even reinstalling Windows might not fix your problem, as it may be a physical problem with your PC’s hardware.
